Shall we?

If for a moment you think that we are done with seeing anime titles that we’ve come to identify and grew with, there are more. If like me you are of the 1980s generation, there will be titles today that will surely put a smile on your face!

These are the anime titles on this Part 2 post, in alphabetical order.

Macross Delta 2018 TV & Macross Delta Movie: Passionate Walkūre

Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walkūre is a compilation of the Macross Delta 2016 TV series, however, it will tell a different story that fits in a movie format. There will be familiar scenes and dialogues but there will also be differences. Imagine it as an alternate route or a parallel universe.

The franchise will also have a new TV series this year for its 35th anniversary. For those not familiar, the Macross franchise started in 1982 with The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, followed by Macross 7, Macross Frontier, and Macross Delta. There were also several Macross games, films, and sequels.

The most recent release was in 2016 when the 26-episode Macross Delta was aired. With the next story beginning sometime this year after the Movie.

Things changed when the Lords decided to fight each other and collect the Crests to make themselves more powerful and influential.

We all probably dreamed of reliving our lives to fix our wrong decisions because we now know better, but it just isn’t possible. But if one can get lucky, Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year old man with no luck in getting work or a girlfriend, met Yoake Ryou from the ReLife Research Institute. ReLIFE is an experiment where subjects are turned into their younger selves and had to go back to high school for the duration of the experiment. After which, the Institute will recommend him to another company for a job. A good deal right?

ReLIFE originated as a manga back in 2013 and is still on-going. Its first anime adaptation aired on 2016, composed of 13 episodes; and a live-action film was released on 2017. This March 21st, the 4-episode finale will be released as an OVA, and in Japan, it will also be streamed via Amazon Prime Video.
